lately I feel like I've been seeing white EVERYWHERE in interiors- and not just on walls. every single time I find myself obsessing over a room it seems like they all have one thing in common- the wood floors are painted white. and I'm about one pin away from marching over to Home Depot and loading my car full of white paint buckets.

one of my absolute FAVORITE examples of this gloriousness that I've seen lately is at The Piece Collective, an adorable shop on Abbot Kinney in Venice, CA. that yellow triangle against the white is everything.
the interior of the store is beautiful and open with exposed beams, and the white floors bounce all of the natural light around in the most beautiful way.
i really love this look in a kitchen too. that huge chalkboard looks so gorgeous in contrast to all the crisp white. pretty sure i'm WAY too messy to ever make this work, but maybe in my next life as a super organized person who really has my shit together i'll give it a go.
i'm totally in love with this look in a bedroom too- not to mention paired with the whitewashed brick!
i think this is my favorite look of all- white floors paired with lots of color, industrial accents, that AMAZE brass light fixture, and most of all, tons and tons of plants. i love how weathered the paint looks on the floor too. i think this would be kind of like a leather couch in that it would only become more beautiful with patina over time.
