Vote, Vote, Vote

While Tuesdays are always our day for new blogs, we felt like there’s really only one thing to post about on this particular Tuesday.

If you’re an American and you haven’t voted yet, we want to encourage you to please make your voice heard in this election! It’s crucial that we all play an active role in making the changes we believe in and creating the country we want to live in.

I think it goes without saying that this is probably the most important election of our lifetimes so far. On top of what’s already been a total curveball and at times dumpster fire of a year, the anxiety so many of us have around this election is palpable and hard to watch/experience.

We want to not only encourage you to vote today if you haven’t already, but also to take care of yourself and do what you need to do to prioritize your mental health.

Personally, we’re planning to hang out together, pet dogs, limit social media and news outlets and perhaps consume a glass (or bottle) or 2 of wine. None of these things minimize the very serious issues that are at stake in this election, but it seems like election day self-care should be a priority for all of us given these crazy times.

Stay safe, try to stay sane, and make your voice heard today!
