Behind The Design: We The Dreamers New Collection!

It’s finally here! We’re so excited to launch our brand new collection and to fill you guys in on everything that went into designing it.

In case you missed it, we just launched four new styles in the shop - plus a We The Dreamers sticker pack. This collection has been in the works for a few months now and we’re so excited to share it with you!

I (Kate) am on the blog today sharing a bit of a behind the scenes look at the inspiration and idea behind these new designs. So excited!

‘Dreamers Make Better Lovers’ Tee

Fact: Dreamers Make Better Lovers.

As a firm believer in the power of a great graphic tee, I wanted to create the comfiest and most versatile white T-shirt possible. This one comes in both Crisp White and Ivory and goes with just about anything! During our photoshoot we paired it with jeans, skirts, jackets, and just about everything else.

With all four of our signature brand colors in a playful made-by-hand script font, the Dreamers Make Better Lovers Tee is really all about unapologetic fun.

I can see myself wearing this as an everyday go-to with jeans, but also dressing it up for gigs and nights out with jewelry, a sequin skirt, or a great leather jacket.

Rêver Toujours (‘Dream Always’ in French) Long Sleeve Layering Tee

Rêver Toujours means “Dream Always” in French and that’s pretty much our mantra.

A lot of you guys know that I lived in Paris last year (see my apartment tour here and read about what I learned living abroad here) and spent a lot of time there learning French (read about my language learning tips here). In addition to being a beautiful and charming language, it feels INCREDIBLY dreamy to me. I felt like it was only appropriate for this new collection had to have a touch of French!

I love this style too because it’s been great for layering - it’s cropped, and I’ve been wearing it both on its own and over a tee or tank out here in LA. I love the desert rose color too - it reminds me of all the flowers in the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris!

Embroidered ‘Solluna’ Crop Fleece Sweatshirt

This fleece is THE comfiest sweatshirt ever.

Embroidered with our WTD ‘Solluna’ logo (the little crescent moon inside the sun), this sweatshirt was a non-negotiable part of the collection for me. I fly a ton between touring for my music stuff and travel for fun, and this fleece is so perfect for long plane rides and long drives on tour.

The style is cropped, and it’s adorable on it’s own or layered over a cozy base layer. My current favorite way to wear it is over a longer thermal with comfy jeans or leggings. The oasis blue color is beautiful too and goes with everything!

We The Dreamers Sticker Pack

Is there anything more fun than just-because stickers? Not according to me.

I love stickers and put them everywhere - my planner, my laptop, my songwriting notebook, my guitar case, my photo journals. We wanted to make something fun for all the dreamers out there who appreciate a little pick-me-up in the form of cute stickers.

Featuring all four of our brand colors and our signature solluna logo, night and day palladian logos, plus our ‘dreamers make better lovers’ and ‘rêver toujours / dream always’ phrases, these are sure to brighten up your day, your planner, or pretty much any and all creative locations your can think of to stick them. GO WILD.
