Extreme Pantry Makeover Part 3 - Custom DIY Brass Curtain Rod, How to Sew Pinch-Pleat Curtains

It's officially before & after reveal day in the final chapter of my Extreme Pantry Makeover series! She's beauty and she's grace, if I do say so myself.

It's been a wild ride trying to wrangle this sad little closet into a functional and beautiful mini butler's pantry, but I'm delighted to say that all the work has majorly paid off.

Pleats and Thank You

Pulling back the (pinch-pleated) curtain on my pantry’s major glow up…

In this episode, I'm finishing out the space by installing a DIY brass curtain rod and sewing pinch pleated curtain panels in a pretty gingham linen to cover up the bottom shelves.

Despite having approximately zero clue what I'm doing on a sewing machine, these curtain panels were surprisingly easy to make.

And the best part about these curtains? Knowing that I can shove any and everything behind them that doesn't exactly fit the color palette (I'm looking at you, fire-engine red reusable Target bag)

I can hardly believe the before and after transformation of this space and I'm so excited to finally be able to share it with you!

Head on over to the YouTube channel to check it out, and let me know in the comments what you think - particularly of the heavily MacGyvered endcap situation...

Vowing to actually cook that pasta even though it looks really cute as decor,
