Outfit To Try: Midi Slip Dresses & Ankle Boots

Don’t you just love it when you find a new staple outfit combination? I’ve been making some style goals as I’ve been purging my closet this past month, and one of them was to break out of my jeans + t-shirt rut.

Don’t get me wrong- I still love a great pair of jeans paired with a comfy tee. But I realized that from time to time I want to wear things with a little more personality, and today I’m sharing some inspiration for my current favorite outfit combo: midi slip dresses + ankle boots.

The great thing about midi dresses and ankle boots is that they work for so many different occasions. A midi slip dress can be dressed up or down, worn on its own in warm weather or topped with a jacket and layered with long sleeve knits when it’s cooler.

the sunshine is finally back here in LA, which means everyone is now only super stressed on the freeways instead of being insanely emotionally off-the-rails stressed - which is how all angelenos are in the rain. i’m excited to do some more hiking this weekend and bounce around the city in pursuit of my next favorite taco truck.
