currently loving: easels as home decor
i got my first easel in high school when i was taking a bunch of painting and art classes, and over ten years later it's still a mainstay in my house. i have a bigger one that i use for actual painting now, but i kept my OG easel because a couple apartments ago i realized what a versatile decor piece it can be. It perfectly it fills out awkward corners, and when an area or vignette needs a little height it's the perfect addition!
there's something about a cool piece of art or a favorite photo displayed on an easel that makes it feel extra special, and this combo also seems to give a space a really cool, unique creative polish. and bonus- it's a super renter-friendly way to display art or a big photo without having to nail frames to the wall! here's some inspo i'm loving:
i like to change out the painting or piece i have displayed on mine every few months or so to keep it fresh. have you ever used a piece like this just for decor?
